An old deck close to becoming dangerous was removed and replaced with a much more sturdy brick wall and patio. Extended outwards by double and back filled with multiple tonnes of concrete and a skin of concrete blocks means this raised patio isn't going anywhere. A contrasting black balustrade really makes the area stand out.
